L'Oreal Vs. L'Oreal??

L'Oreal came out with a whole new line of polish recently. Here we have Stroke Of Midnight and VIP Status. It was buy one get one 50% off. I got both of these colors because...they looked the same. I wanted to check the difference out myself.
L-Stroke of Midnight and R-VIP Status
Stroke of Midnight is a dark slate grey with a minor blue undertone. VIP status looks like it would be a purple duo chrome in the bottle. Nope, just a blackened teal shimmer. I like both colors but don't really have a preference between the two. Formula was meh. I have bought L'Oreal polish in the past and I hated them. These are a little better.

SaGreena the Teenage Witch

Not the most original color in the world but it was .99 cents at my Walgreens. I used two layers. I waited about ten minutes and then applied SV. Waited another five minutes and went to bed. It still smudged! Hmmmm....Fast Dry?? Oh and the name is really cheesy.

Ohhhhhhh Bevin!

Zoya just released their True collection for the Spring. One of the colors I decided to buy was Bevin.
Color= Dusty sage green with a cream finish.
Formula= thick and goopy. I seem to have a problem with that with cream colors. Nail thinner maybe?
Overall= I can wear this color anywhere. Including when I'm at the hospital for clinical

Uhhhh.........(Trying to lift jaw off the floor)!

Today, I received some nail mail from the lovely Llarowe. My Lynnderella's have arrived! Of course I had to change my mani right away.

Essie Grow Faster base coat- 1 coat
OPI Suzi Skis In The Pyrenees Suede- 2 coats
Lynnderella Mercury's Rainbow- 2coats
All this was topped with Glitter Tamer and Sally Hansen Diamond Flash.

I just took a bunch of pictures in different lighting trying to capture everything that is going on in that bottle! These polishes are a work of art. Lynn is rocking it right now!

A-England Lady Of The Lake

No Flash
This was my first experience with a-england. Love at first...application!! Lady is a medium purple with a rainbow glitter and glow. It was opaque in two coats and dried rather quickly. The formula was just right...not to thin...not to thick. The brush to me was normal and I didn't have any problem using it to apply the polish.

Hits No Olimpo Hestia

I ordered a bunch of Hits from Llarowe a few weeks ago. This is my first experience with them and I must say I am quite surprised. Hestia is a lilac holographic purple.
Just look at all those colors come through! The formula was a little on the sheer side but easy to work with. The only problem is the brush.  It's not cut evenly and is a little frumpy but it works.
