China Glaze Westside Warrior With Platinum Pieces

Below we have Westside Warrior from China Glaze Metro Collection. It is a khaki olive green with a cream finish. The formula was okay. Not to thick or thin. I used two coats topped with SV. This isn't the most original green I've seen or have but it'll do.

I wanted to use more of my China Glaze metallic crackles so I put Platinum Pieces over Westside Warrior.

I think I used to thick of a coat because it didn't crack that well. I'm chalking that up to user error!
Have you guys seen any of the pictures of this years Cosmoprof? The upcoming collections are looking epic! I am so excited.

It's So Ugly, It's Pretty Right?!!?

The first polish I have for you from the China Glaze Metro Collection is Trendsetter. It is a murky yellow-green with gold shimmer. It was opaque within two coats and I topped with Seche Vite. Sorry for the blur on one side. It is very, very humid outside today in lovely Iowa.

I still don't know how I feel about this one. Sometimes I like it and at other moments I think it's really fugly (freakin' ugly)! Maybe it will grow on me. It definitely seems to be the most unique of the Metro collection by far. What do you guys think?

On Another Note...

I'm slowly changing my blog. I'm reading more about how to use blogger and design web pages. So I apologize now if anything looks incomplete or off. Thanks guys!!!!

I Can't Believe I'm Doing This!

Here we have Orly Frisky from the Happy Go Lucky collection. It's somewhat of a turquoise and sky blue. Application was a little thick and a little streaky. It was opaque with two coats and I topped it off with Seche Vite.
Ok, here's what I can't believe I'm doing. These are my natural nails. The short little nubbs. I am tired of solar/acrylic/store bought fake nails. I plan on taking very good care of my natural nails to get them back into shape. So please bare with me during this process!

Kleancolor Metallic Black With A Little Spark-tacular

Do you guys have a love/hate relationship with glitter? I know I do...I love to wear it but hate to take it off...yes even with the foil method. Alright, below we have 1 coat of Kleancolor Metallic Black. It was very opaque (duh! I only needed 1 coat) but it did dry a little sticky. I topped my pointer and middle finger with Sephora by OPI Spark-tacular.

As you can see above, Spark-tacular is a variety of color, shapes and sizes. I can't wait to layer this over some other polishes! I think everyone should check this polish out.

Essence Choose Me!

Here we have another wonderful color from Essence. Choose Me! is a bluish/teal foil color. I had to use three coats. I could have gone with two but my base nails are french and I needed to cover up the white tips. Topped everything off with Seche Vite.

Essence has a great wide brush that gives the perfect coverage. The formula was not streaky and also had a decent drying time. For 0.99$ these polishes continue to amaze me!

Kleancolor Blue Eyed Girl

I've been seeing more swatches of Kleancolor nail polish. So I decided to head over to Beautyjoint to check out the colors and purchase some of my own. Okay first the price...A 1.75$ per bottle, that is a great deal. I ordered around 15 polishes. Below we have Blue Eyed Girl. It is a blue base with blue hexagonal glitter. I used three coats and topped it off with Seche Vite. The formula was a little thick and I had to take my time and disperse the glitter properly. I took a ton of pictures. Unfortunately I had to take the pictures inside so they are not the best. I did take a lot though.
First picture is with flash

The rest are without flash

I will definitely purchase more of Kleancolor. I'm so glad I found out about this brand. More swatches to come. I'd like to thank the recent joiners to the blog. I know my posts have been sparse so it is greatly appreciated.

I'm Alive!!

Ok guys, sorry for the delay in posts. I did this little thing a few weeks ago...ya know getting married:) I was in Las Vegas for a week and it was wonderful. I've been back for two weeks but I got sick and was trying to get thank you notes done. Being a nail nut, I definitely searched for brands in Vegas that little Iowa does not have.

This beauty I have right here is Essence Can't Cheat On Me. It's a great holographic silver.

With the Essence bottles being on the smaller side I was worried about the brush being dinky and just crappy. Nope! The bristles were wonderful. It kind of reminded me of OPI pro brush.
Here's my problem. I want more! Ulta only has a small selection and its the Color and Go. Does anyone know where I can get some of their other polishes? I know they have nail art and also the magnetic polish. I would owe you a big one.

Just want to say that I am looking forward to the fall colors. Its going to be a awesome season!!

Until next time,
